Located in Morris County, New Jersey, Chester Borough is a small, charming town known for its historic buildings and friendly community. Its population of around 1,700 residents enjoy a suburban feel with easy access to larger cities like New York and Philadelphia. With its highly rated schools, low crime rate, and scenic surroundings, Chester Borough has become a popular place to live for families and professionals alike. However, every place has its pros and cons. Let's take a look at what some users have to say about living in Chester Borough.

The town is very safe and there are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy." The small-town atmosphere is perfect for families and the local businesses are thriving. The people here are friendly and welcoming, making it easy to feel like a part of the community."

On the other hand, not all reviews about Chester Borough are positive. As Emily R. states, "While Chester Borough may seem idyllic on the surface, it's not without its flaws. The cost of living is high and the commute to larger cities can be long and frustrating. Also, the lack of diversity in the town can be a downside for some." Similarly, Michael L. writes, "I've lived in Chester Borough for a few years now and have noticed a significant increase in traffic and development. Great Town!!! - 5/28/2006
Chester is amazing. I grew up here, and I am so grateful for that. Although now, the houses are getting quite expensive, they are gorgeous, and most are historic. The downtown of the borough is made up of all buildings from the 1800's. People here are so friendly, and the sunsets are gorgeous. The only downside is that 99% of the people here are Catholic, and they tend to make jokes about Jewish people in a hurtful way. Other then that, we have a great school system ("Getting an 'B' in Mendham is like getting an 'A' in al other high schools!") And its a fantastic place. I wouldn't dream of living anywhere Read More
